So many don’t want to make take the long round or the way home but rather desire the shortcut to their home as to get there on time and get things done. But to that, things don’t always work that way. It is very true that the long way is the best way and the shortcut is sometimes dangerous. Well, in this case it’s not dangerous but rather the best way for those that don’t want to tweak their system registry themselves.
This process don’t mean you are not tweaking or making modification to the registry of your computer. You are but through the aid of a software.
The function of this software which is called the wp7USBstorageEnabler which is to make your super invincible Windows Phone 7 storage to become visible.  This tool when open, it has two option of Enable/Disable and Quite. It works as a registry silent editor. So don’t worry. It won’t have any negative effect to your Windows.

STEPS TO USE THE WINDOWS PHONE 7 USB STORAGE ENABLER

• After you must have installed Zune on your computer, plug-in your Windows Phone 7 or 7.5 or 7.8 to your Computer with your Data transfer USB cable. Allow it to install its Driver to the system if you have not already done so.
• Disconnect your phone from your Computer and also close the Zune software, open the wp7USBstorageEnabler as it will do all the magic as little as it is but, make sure you have at least dot-Netframe v2 on that PC.
• Make sure you open the wp7USBstorageEnabler as an administrator by right clicking on it and select open as an administrator from the pop-up menu.
• Now, click on enable from the option displayed. Then quite if you like to.
• Plug-in your Windows Phone 7 or 7.5 or 7.8 back to your computer. Now you should be able to see your phone on My Computer among the Devices drives available. You can open it then can drag and drop whatever you want into this Directory. You can also create folders to any of the directory.

Anyways, this procedure is completely reversible so you can disable and all the registry modification of your phone will return to its default.
