The Good old Symbian. The best at that time and at what it does with Nokia, Sendo X, Motorola, Sony Ericsson's and Samsung. With Nokia, it works best.
The Nokia s60 and the Other brand before it like the Ericsson's Symbian Devices are the the beginning of Smart-phones and they are made people understand that the Tech in Phones are not just ordinary Tech but a tech that will definitely evolve to a tech that will someday surpass the Ordinary computer as people will be able to use it every where, anytime of any day as long as they are charged.
Symbian was a closed-source mobile operating system (OS) and computing platform designed for smart-phones.
The s60s transition was not just that of a phone evolving to a tiny little computer,
Though, it didn't not meet the User requirement of internal storage capacity and memory. The hardware were of not bad as they where phones with very high durability unlike the smart-phones of this era and they are also very bulky with high weight.
There are also different series of this Device ranging from the s60, s60v2 s60v3 s60v5. The Difference between this variance are the kind of apps that runs on them and menu they have. Their multi-task ability are some what superb.
Even as the better and faster OS with better Hardware, slick body and more attractive looks have flooded the Smart-phone Market and Nokia has stop the production of those device, but you still can find them in the market as refurbished, fairly Used phones or what have you. So many are the fans of this mobile and they don't want to let it fade away under the Dominance of android Devices, iPhones and iPads and even the Blackberry and the Windows Phones, etc,.
"Today, Symbian is actually maintained by Accenture, a management consulting company, to which Nokia outsourced development (and shipped off thousands of employees) in 2011. Accenture is supposed to maintain the OS through 2016.It would have been a fantastic welcome back if the Accenture Symbians Developers and designer, Programmers can listen to the voices of their fans and still watch the market, they will notice they still got a lot of fans. And what they will do is the start a new project from scratch with a different series Which will be faster, Smarter, Better User Interface, better hardware, cheaper price rate unlike how they cost in the times where the Smart-phones Market was ruled by Nokia Since Multi-Tasking isn't a problem as it pauses the apps that needs to and allow play to those that should but increase its numbers of processes, apps services and Apps residence and more compatible with the touch screens.
So, what killed Symbian? Complexity, according to Nokia. In reports, the company blamed Symbian's difficult and unfriendly code structure for the extended time it takes for a phone using that OS to be developed. BGR quotes a Nokia spokesperson complainingthat a typical Symbian handset required 22 months of development time, compared to less than a year with Windows Phone. In today's environment, when markets are made and lost in a matter of weeks, that just won't fly."
For the Die hard fans of this awesome OS Who still doesn't know how to hard-reset their Nokia symbian Devices with without a computer. This may be called Hand Flashing. This can be done with s60, s60v2 s60v3 s60v5 and etc.

STEP 1: Using of The Dial pad if the Device is still coming up completely. Just Dial *#7370# it Will ask for The Phone Code Enter the Code you made on the phone or use the default Nokia Code of 12345 if otherwise not recognized, then Use "step 2."
STEP 2: This is done only when the Device is switch-off. if the Device is powered on, Remove the Battery and re-insert it but don't turn on, then you have to do a combo press by holding down the * key, 3 key, green call key and the Power on/off button.
